Tovino Thomas’s latest film, Ajayante Randaam Moshanam (ARM), has achieved a remarkable feat by crossing the Rs 50 crore mark at the global box office. The film's production team celebrated this success with a social media announcement, expressing gratitude to audiences for their support and emphasizing the impact of positive cinema on the industry.
Released on September 12 during the Onam festival, ARM has been praised for its engaging 3D action-adventure narrative, which explores multiple timelines. Directed by debutant Jithin Laal, the film features a screenplay by Sujith Nambiar and additional writing by Deepu Pradeep. Krithi Shetty makes her Malayalam debut alongside a notable cast including Aishwarya Rajesh, Surabhi Lakshmi, Rohini, Basil Joseph, Jagadish, and Harish Uthaman.
Critics have lauded ARM for its ability to transport audiences to a new world, distinguishing it from the conventional realistic dramas and thrillers prevalent in Malayalam cinema. The film was released simultaneously in 3D and 2D formats and across multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, with backing from UGM Productions and Magic Frames.
