Despite having no star cast and featuring fresh faces in the lead roles, the film has become one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year. Made on a budget of ₹3 crore, it has earned 45 times its budget in profits.
The film features actors Naslen and Mamitha Baiju in lead roles. It is currently available on the Aha OTT platform in Telugu and on Disney+ Hotstar in Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi. Following its success, the makers have announced a sequel, "Premalu 2." The production of the sequel is set to begin in June, with the film expected to release in December of this year.
