Directed by Prem Sankar, who previously directed Randuper, a film showcased in the Competition Section of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in 2017, Thekku Vadakku promises a unique comedic experience.
In the film, Vinayakan portrays Madhavan, a retired KSEB engineer, while Suraj plays Shankunni, a sawmill owner. The narrative explores an "unconventional relationship" between these two characters. The film's release date was recently moved from September 20 to October 4.
