After the success of the 2009 film Eeram, which was well-received by audiences, director Arivazhagan is reuniting with actor Aadhi for the movie Saptham. Eeram had featured Aadhi, Sindhu Menon, Nanda Durairaj, and Saranya Mohan in pivotal roles, and its success led to the collaboration between Arivazhagan and Aadhi once again after 14 years.
In Saptham, Aadhi is joined by a stellar cast that includes Simran, Laila, Lakshmi Menon, Redin Kingsley, M.S. Bhaskar, and Rajeev Menon, among others. The movie, produced by 7G Films, follows a similar suspense and thriller genre as Eeram, blending elements of suspense and horror. Music for the film is composed by Thaman, while the production team is working on finishing the post-production tasks at full speed.
The first look and teaser of Saptham have already made waves online, creating significant buzz around the film. After completing the shooting, the movie is now in its final stages of production. The highly anticipated release date for Saptham has been announced as February 28th of the coming year.
