Written by Dinil PK, Petta Rap marks the Tamil directorial debut of SJ Sinu, who is recognized for his work in Malayalam cinema with films such as Theru (2023) and Djibouti (2021). The production of Petta Rap was completed earlier in February, wrapping up a significant phase of the film's journey.
The movie stars the versatile Prabhu Deva alongside a talented ensemble including Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi, and Riyaz Khan. With Jobi P Sam serving as the producer, Petta Rap promises to offer a dynamic cinematic experience. The film's technical aspects are being handled by Jithu Damodhar, who is in charge of cinematography, and Nishadh Yusuf, responsible for editing.
