Rajinikanth's 171st film, Cooli, is a highly anticipated pan-India project directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film stars a stellar cast, including Soubin Shahir, Nagarjuna, Sathyaraj, Upendra, and Shruti Haasan in pivotal roles, making it one of the most talked-about films of the year.
The shooting of Cooli has taken place in key locations like Hyderabad and Chennai, with 70% of the work already completed. The remaining 30% will be filmed in Bangkok, where the team is all set to begin the next phase of production.
After rumors surrounding the release date, new official information has confirmed that Cooli will be released worldwide on August 14th, coinciding with India's Independence Day. This release date is particularly significant, following the success of Rajinikanth's previous film Jailer, which also released around the same time in 2023. Fans are eagerly awaiting Cooli, and it is expected to generate immense excitement upon release.
