Ahead of the release of Kanguva, Studio Green, the production house behind the much-anticipated film starring Suriya, has urged audiences not to leak any content from the movie on social media. On Wednesday, the team shared a message on their official X (formerly Twitter) account, warning fans that the anti-piracy team is on high alert and that leaking content could result in account suspension. The post read, "Anti-piracy team on 👿 mode, so don’t leak any contents; your account may be suspended 😌 #Kanguva."
However, despite the warning, photos of a leading actor who plays a cameo in Kanguva surfaced online.
The fantasy period action film, produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, stars Suriya in the lead role, along with Disha Patani, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, Anandaraj, G Marimuthu, Ravi Raghavendra, KS Ravikumar, BS Avinash, and Deepa Venkat. Kanguva also marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and Bobby Deol.
The film, which will be released in two parts, promises to travel across multiple time periods. The team behind the movie includes cinematographer Vetri Palanisamy, editor Nishadh Yusuf (who tragically passed away), and art director Milan Fernandez (also deceased). Madhan Karky has written the dialogues for the film.
Reports suggest Kanguva will be released in 38 languages and will be available in both 3D and IMAX versions.
