Jharkhand on November 12 commenced its 25th Foundation Day celebrations with great enthusiasm and pride, marking a significant milestone in the state’s journey since its formation in the year 2000. Chief Minister Hemant Soren launched a fleet of campaign vehicles in Ranchi, symbolizing the state’s progress in development, welfare, and cultural preservation. The initiative aims to take the story of Jharkhand’s growth and identity to every corner of the state.
The campaign vehicles are designed to showcase the achievements of Jharkhand over the past 25 years, particularly under the current government’s development programs. These vehicles will travel across all districts to display projects in areas such as education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, women’s empowerment, and tribal welfare. They will also highlight cultural heritage, folk art, and tourism initiatives that define Jharkhand’s unique identity.
Speaking at the launch event, Chief Minister Hemant Soren expressed pride in the state’s accomplishments and reaffirmed his government’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development. He emphasized that the vision is to make Jharkhand a self-reliant and prosperous state while ensuring that its tribal and rural communities remain at the core of all development initiatives. “Our goal is to blend progress with tradition and to build a state that provides opportunities for all,” he said.
The celebrations include a series of events and programs across districts, featuring cultural performances, exhibitions, and public outreach activities. Local artists, students, and community organizations are participating in showcasing the state’s folk traditions, music, and crafts. The government has also announced several welfare measures and policy launches as part of the Foundation Day festivities, focusing on social security, employment generation, and youth empowerment.
Over the years, Jharkhand has made strides in industrial growth, mining, and renewable energy, while also working toward environmental protection and tribal development. The government has emphasized improving public welfare schemes such as housing, food security, and health insurance. The Foundation Day celebrations are seen as an opportunity to reflect on the state’s achievements, challenges, and the road ahead.
Cultural events in Ranchi and other major cities will continue throughout the week, highlighting Jharkhand’s rich tribal heritage and contemporary achievements. The campaign also aims to promote tourism by presenting the state as a destination of natural beauty, ancient traditions, and modern progress.
As Jharkhand celebrates 25 years of its formation, the focus remains on fostering unity, progress, and cultural pride. The state government has urged citizens to participate actively in the celebrations and contribute to building a stronger, more inclusive Jharkhand for the future.
