This delay has caused disappointment among teachers, and last year, the transfers could not be processed as they coincided with the annual and board exams." The last round of teacher transfers took place under the previous BJP government led by Vasundhara Raje, and since then, around 90,000 Grade-III teachers have been waiting for their transfers.

Teachers in Rajasthan government schools have expressed their frustration over the prolonged delay in transfers, with many having been waiting for over six years. The state government has opened the transfer window for various departments, but the education department has not begun the transfer process for Grade-III teachers. Teachers have called for a time-bound assurance from the state government regarding the implementation of the transfer policy.

The issue has become a source of discontent, with the Rajasthan Primary and Secondary Teachers' Association (RPSTA) voicing their concerns. According to the association's president, Vipin Prakash Sharma, "A year has passed since the formation of this government, but transfers in the education department are yet to begin. This delay has caused disappointment among teachers, and last year, the transfers could not be processed as they coincided with the annual and board exams."

The last round of teacher transfers took place under the previous BJP government led by Vasundhara Raje, and since then, around 90,000 Grade-III teachers have been waiting for their transfers. The government has repeatedly stated that transfers in the education department have been on hold due to the upcoming board exams and the REET exam scheduled next month.

Teachers, including members of the Rajasthan Shikshak Sangh (Rashtriya), have submitted memorandums to district collectors, urging the government to address the transfer issue. They are seeking clarity on when the transfer policy will be implemented.

A senior official from the education department explained that the delay is to avoid any disruptions ahead of the exams, adding that "We do not want any disturbance ahead of the board exams and REET."

Teachers, however, continue to push for a solution, hoping that the state government will prioritize their long-pending transfer requests in the near future.
