The Rajasthan Police Foundation Day was commemorated with honour and pride at the Rajasthan Police Academy campus in Jaipur, where Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma presided over the ceremonial events and reviewed the grand parade organised by the state police force.
The Foundation Day, observed every year, serves as a tribute to the bravery, discipline, and relentless public service of the Rajasthan Police. The event began with a formal parade involving various contingents of police personnel in full ceremonial dress. CM Bhajanlal Sharma, as the chief guest, inspected the parade and acknowledged the contributions of officers and jawans who uphold the law and protect the people.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sharma lauded the Rajasthan Police for their dedication and efficiency in maintaining law and order across the state. He highlighted their critical role in tackling crime, managing law enforcement during large-scale events, and providing rapid response during emergencies. “The Rajasthan Police have stood as a symbol of courage and commitment. Our government is fully dedicated to providing them with modern infrastructure, training, and welfare support,” said the Chief Minister.
During the event, medals and commendations were awarded to officers for exemplary service. Demonstrations showcasing the capabilities and preparedness of the force in handling modern security challenges were also held. These included mock drills and displays of tactical equipment.
Senior police officials, including the Director General of Police (DGP), shared their vision for making Rajasthan Police a technology-driven and citizen-friendly force. Emphasis was laid on strengthening community policing, cybercrime units, women’s safety, and rural outreach programs.
The Chief Minister also spoke about the importance of police-public cooperation in ensuring a safe and harmonious society. He urged citizens to work hand-in-hand with the police and contribute to social order and justice.
Rajasthan Police Foundation Day not only reflects on the glorious history and achievements of the police force but also sets the tone for future reforms, modernization, and people-centric policing. The celebration at the Police Academy reaffirmed the commitment of the state leadership to empower the police and promote peace, safety, and justice for every citizen.
