Medical Camp for Private School Teachers and Families to Be Held in Madurai on October 25
Madurai, September 20: The Tamil Nadu Private Educational Institutions Teachers Association has planned to organise a medical camp for private school teachers and their family members in Madurai on Sunday, October 25, 2026. The camp is scheduled to take place at Faritha Montessori School, located on Kathanam Pillai 11th Street in S.S. Colony, Madurai, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to the organisers, medical professionals from Agaram Dental Clinic, Eye Foundation and Crescent Nursing Home are expected to participate in the programme. The camp aims to provide teachers and their family members with an opportunity to consult healthcare professionals and seek advice about their health concerns.
The association has arranged the programme as part of its efforts to support the well-being of private educational institution teachers and their families. Teachers play an important role in the education system, and access to health consultations can help them identify health concerns and understand the need for appropriate medical attention.
Medical professionals from three healthcare providers to participate
Medical professionals associated with Agaram Dental Clinic, Eye Foundation and Crescent Nursing Home are expected to attend the camp. The participating healthcare providers will offer consultations in their respective areas of practice.
The involvement of dental and eye-care specialists will give participants an opportunity to raise concerns relating to oral health and vision. Medical professionals from Crescent Nursing Home are also expected to take part in examining participants and addressing general health-related concerns.
Participants can use the camp to discuss their symptoms or health-related questions with the available professionals. Any further tests, treatment or follow-up consultations, if required, will depend on the assessment and advice of the medical professionals.
The organisers have invited private school teachers and their family members to make use of the camp. The programme is expected to bring together teachers from different private educational institutions across Madurai district.
Association office-bearers organise the programme
The medical camp is being organised on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Private Educational Institutions Teachers Association by Madurai district president Faritha Banu, vice-president Saravana Kumar and state committee member Arumugam.
The programme is being coordinated by A. Ramachandran, joint secretary of the association. The organisers are making arrangements for the event and expect teachers and their family members to participate during the scheduled hours.
According to the organisers, approximately 500 private school teachers and their family members are expected to attend the camp. The final number of participants will depend on attendance on the day of the programme.
The event is intended to bring healthcare professionals and members of the teaching community together in one location. It will also provide an opportunity for teachers to discuss health concerns and receive guidance from the participating professionals.
Venue and timing
The medical camp is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Faritha Montessori School, Kathanam Pillai 11th Street, S.S. Colony, Madurai. The programme is expected to begin at 10 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m.
