Senior Congress leader and Karnataka MLA Dinesh Gundu Rao has publicly expressed disappointment after being left out of the newly expanded Karnataka cabinet. In a statement, the senior legislator said he was surprised by the decision, particularly because no official explanation was provided regarding his exclusion.
Dinesh Gundu Rao, who has served the Congress party in several important positions over the years, said he accepted the party's decision with discipline but felt it was natural to be disappointed after not being given an opportunity to serve in the state cabinet. He noted that throughout his political career, he has remained committed to the party's ideology and has consistently worked for the welfare of the people.
The Congress leader thanked the people of his constituency for their continued trust and support over the years. He said their confidence has been the foundation of his political journey and assured them that his commitment to public service would remain unchanged regardless of whether he holds a ministerial position.
Rao stated that he had always discharged every responsibility entrusted to him with sincerity and dedication.
