Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal has called for a Supreme Court monitored investigation into the alleged financial irregularities related to funds associated with the Ayodhya temple project. Speaking on the issue, Venugopal criticized the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that matters involving public faith and financial accountability require an independent and transparent inquiry.
According to media reports, Venugopal questioned the handling of the alleged financial irregularities and argued that an investigation supervised by the Supreme Court would help ensure transparency and public confidence.
