Members of the opposition INDIA bloc staged a protest in the Parliament House complex during the ongoing Monsoon Session, demanding discussions on allegations concerning Ram Temple donations and recent police action against student protesters. The demonstration added to the political exchanges between the ruling National Democratic Alliance and opposition parties during the current session of Parliament.
Several Members of Parliament from opposition parties participated in the protest, carrying symbolic donation boxes and raising slogans to press their demands. Among those present was Congress General Secretary and Member of Parliament Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, along with leaders from other INDIA bloc parties.
The opposition stated that its protest was intended to seek a discussion in Parliament on allegations relating to the handling of Ram Temple donation funds. At the time of reporting, no court has established any theft or financial wrongdoing involving the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and no official investigation has publicly confirmed the allegations. The Trust has not been found guilty of any financial irregularity.
