According to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, the Prime Minister addressed National Democratic Alliance Members of Parliament during a meeting and emphasized that the government had responded promptly after reports of alleged examination irregularities emerged. He stated that the government acted swiftly to investigate the matter while taking steps to minimize inconvenience for students.
Rijiju informed reporters that the Prime Minister highlighted the government's efforts to ensure that eligible candidates did not suffer because of the alleged irregularities. According to the minister, the government facilitated the conduct of the required NEET re examination without unnecessary delay and ensured that the results were declared within the prescribed timeline so that students could continue the admission process.
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister also stated that law enforcement agencies moved quickly after receiving information about the alleged paper leak. According to the government's briefing, 13 individuals were arrested during the investigation in connection with the case.
