Political tensions in Maharashtra have intensified after NCP SP MLA Rohit Pawar made serious claims regarding the future political plans of several leaders from the Nationalist Congress Party. Rohit Pawar alleged that senior NCP leaders including Praful Patel, Sunil Tatkare and around 22 NCP MLAs are likely to contest upcoming elections on Bharatiya Janata Party tickets.
The statement has triggered fresh political discussions in Maharashtra, especially at a time when alliances and internal party dynamics continue to remain sensitive after the split within the Nationalist Congress Party.
