With just a week to go before the two-match Test series against India, Bangladesh's wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das has made a significant statement, shifting focus from their recent success to the challenges ahead. Das emphasized that their 2-0 series win over Pakistan is now behind them and that the team is fully concentrating on the upcoming clash with India.
In the recent Test series against Pakistan, Das played a crucial role. He delivered a match-winning century during the second Test, which was particularly remarkable given the difficult situation Bangladesh faced. The team was in a dire position at 26/6 in response to Pakistan's 274. Despite the adversity, including rain washing out the first day’s play, Das’s innings helped turn the tide. Bangladesh eventually won the Test by six wickets, showcasing their resilience and Das’s key contribution in securing the series win.
As they look forward to the Test series against India, Das and the Bangladesh team are focusing on preparing for the new challenges rather than resting on their past achievements.
