At stumps, the West Indies were 70-1, with opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul unbeaten on 42 and captain Kraigg Brathwaite at the crease on 28.

Shamar Joseph has lauded his West Indies teammate, Jayden Seales, for his remarkable performance on Day 2 of the second Test against Bangladesh at Sabina Park, Kingston. Seales was instrumental in putting the visitors on the back foot, claiming outstanding figures of 4 wickets for just 5 runs in 16 overs, including 10 maiden overs. His spell, which helped the West Indies bowl Bangladesh out for 164 in 71.5 overs, was one of the most economical in Test cricket history. With an economy rate of 0.30, Seales became only the sixth bowler in the history of men's Test cricket to take four or more wickets while conceding fewer than five runs. This achievement added to his growing reputation as a rising star in West Indies cricket.

Joseph, who also played a crucial role in the West Indies' dominance on Day 2 with 3 wickets for 49 runs, expressed immense pride in his teammate's performance. Reflecting on Seales' bowling, Joseph said, "We know the aggression Seales brings to the table. That is the best I have seen him bowl. I enjoyed his spell." Joseph's words underscored the admiration for Seales' skill and the intensity he brings to every match.

The day started with Bangladesh resuming their innings at 69-2 after a rain-affected first day. However, the West Indies quickly took control. Joseph struck first, dismissing Shahadat Hossain Dipu (22) to break the 83-run stand. From there, Joseph continued to make inroads, claiming the wickets of Jaker Ali (1) and opener Shadman Islam (64). His spells set the stage for the collapse of Bangladesh's batting order as they slumped to 98-6.

While Mehidy Hasan Miraz (36) and Taijul Islam (16) fought to steady the innings, it was Seales who finished off Bangladesh's resistance. His excellent bowling brought the visitors' innings to a close, leaving the West Indies with a target of 94 runs to make up in their second innings.

At stumps, the West Indies were 70-1, with opener Tagenarine Chanderpaul unbeaten on 42 and captain Kraigg Brathwaite at the crease on 28. The Windies trail Bangladesh by just 94 runs, with nine wickets in hand, putting them in a strong position to take the game forward on Day 3.

The West Indies' dominant display on Day 2, with stellar performances from Seales, Joseph, and the rest of the team, has put them in a great position to win the second Test. The team's collective effort, especially from their bowlers, has been impressive, and they will be looking to build on this momentum as they push towards victory in the ongoing match.
