Formula 1 is set to make history with its first-ever season launch event, scheduled to take place at London’s iconic The O2 arena on February 18, 2025. This groundbreaking event will celebrate the sport’s 75th anniversary and bring together all ten teams, drivers, and Team Principals in one spectacular evening. For the first time, fans will have the chance to witness the entire F1 grid in one location as they officially kick off the new season.
The event will feature a range of exciting activities, including driver introductions, the highly anticipated unveiling of the 2025 car liveries, and exclusive interviews with key figures from the sport. Attendees will also get an inside look at the drivers and teams that make Formula 1 one of the most thrilling and popular sports in the world.
Formula 1 President & CEO Stefano Domenicali expressed his excitement about the event, saying, “For the first time, we will bring together our fans, all 20 superstars of our sport, and some very special guests to officially launch our new season and celebrate 75 years of racing.” The launch will be directed by renowned creative producer Brian Burke, who has previously worked on major events such as the Las Vegas Grand Prix ceremonies. Burke, in collaboration with Stufish Entertainment Architects, DX7 Design, and 1826, is committed to creating an immersive and unforgettable experience for all attendees.
The event will not only showcase the stars of Formula 1 but also feature special guest appearances, making it a true celebration of the sport’s rich history and exciting future. FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem also welcomed the collaboration, stating, “The FIA is delighted to join FOM and all the teams in the staging of the inaugural Formula 1 season launch event.”
Tickets for this historic occasion will be available at prices ranging from £58 to £113, with a £2.50 booking fee per order.
