Besides Bhaker, other Indian athletes such as members of the men's hockey team, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, boxer Lovlina Borgohain, and weightlifter Mirabai Chanu also have the potential to achieve multiple Olympic medals in their respective disciplines.

India has amassed a total of 37 Olympic medals to date, including 10 golds, 9 silvers, and 18 bronzes. Shooter Manu Bhaker recently joined this prestigious group of Indian Olympic medallists with her remarkable performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics, where she won two bronze medals.

Bhaker first earned bronze in the Women's 10m Air Pistol event. On July 30, she secured her second bronze medal in the Mixed Team 10m Air Pistol event, partnering with Sarabjot Singh. At just 22 years old, Bhaker has set a new record as the first Indian athlete to win multiple medals at a single Olympic Games.

Looking ahead, Bhaker has the opportunity to add to her medal count with upcoming events, including the Women's 25m Pistol competition.
