New Delhi:
Yamaha Motor India has officially introduced the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi Version 4.0, priced from ₹1.35 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest iteration of the popular 150cc commuter motorcycle brings fresh updates in styling, safety, and rider convenience while retaining Yamaha's trusted performance DNA.
The FZ-S Fi V4 continues to be powered by a 149cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, producing 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. While the engine remains largely unchanged, Yamaha claims better throttle response and smoother refinement for everyday commuting.
One of the key highlights of the 2025 model is its modern styling, now available in new color options like Racing Blue, Matte Black, and Metallic Grey. Yamaha has also refreshed the graphics and body panels to appeal to younger riders looking for a premium yet sporty street bike.
Safety and tech features have also received an upgrade. The motorcycle now gets Bluetooth-enabled Yamaha Motorcycle Connect, offering turn-by-turn navigation, call alerts, ride statistics, and bike location tracking. It also comes equipped with a single-channel ABS, LED headlight and taillight, and an updated LCD instrument cluster for enhanced visibility.
The FZ-S Fi has long been known for its comfortable riding posture, wide handlebars, and lightweight handling, making it ideal for city rides and short highway stints. The bike offers a 13-litre fuel tank, decent ground clearance, and refined suspension, ensuring comfort on Indian roads.
With rising fuel costs and urban congestion, the demand for efficient and stylish commuter bikes has been on the rise. Yamaha’s move to update the FZ series aligns with its goal of retaining leadership in the premium commuter segment.
Bookings for the 2025 Yamaha FZ-S Fi V4 are now open across dealerships in India, and deliveries are expected to begin shortly. This launch is part of Yamaha’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in the 150-160cc motorcycle market in 2025.
