While the overall design remains unchanged, the fresh paint scheme adds a renewed visual appeal to the motorcycle.

Kawasaki has officially launched the 2026 Ninja 1100SX in India, pricing the premium sport-touring motorcycle at Rs 14.42 lakh, ex-showroom. The latest iteration of the Ninja 1100SX brings an important update in the form of E20 fuel compliance, making it compatible with petrol blended with up to 20 percent ethanol, as mandated by the Indian government’s emission and fuel standards roadmap.

The E20 compliance update ensures that the Ninja 1100SX meets future-ready environmental regulations without compromising performance. Kawasaki has made necessary adjustments to the engine and fuel system to support ethanol-blended fuel, while maintaining the motorcycle’s touring-focused reliability and refinement.

Alongside the technical update, Kawasaki has also introduced a new colourway for the 2026 model year. While the overall design remains unchanged, the fresh paint scheme adds a renewed visual appeal to the motorcycle. The Ninja 1100SX continues to feature a sporty yet understated design, combining aggressive styling elements with ergonomics suited for long-distance riding.

Mechanically, the Ninja 1100SX is powered by a 1,099cc inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that delivers strong mid-range and top-end performance. The motor is paired with a six-speed gearbox and benefits from electronic rider aids such as traction control, power modes, cruise control, and a quick shifter, enhancing both touring comfort and sporty riding dynamics.

The motorcycle is built on a lightweight aluminium frame and comes equipped with fully adjustable suspension, offering a balanced ride quality for highways and twisty roads alike. Dual front disc brakes with ABS ensure confident braking performance, while the upright riding posture and well-padded seat make it suitable for extended journeys.

Kawasaki has positioned the Ninja 1100SX as a sport-tourer that bridges the gap between supersport motorcycles and full-fledged touring machines. Features such as a windscreen, relaxed ergonomics, and advanced electronics make it a popular choice among riders seeking performance without sacrificing comfort.

In terms of competition, the Ninja 1100SX competes with other premium sport-touring motorcycles in the Indian market, catering to enthusiasts who prefer powerful engines combined with everyday usability. The pricing reflects its premium positioning and imported nature.

With the launch of the E20-compliant Ninja 1100SX, Kawasaki continues to update its product lineup in line with evolving regulatory requirements while offering modern features and performance. The 2026 model ensures that Indian buyers get a motorcycle that is not only powerful and comfortable but also aligned with future fuel standards.
