KTM has officially launched the 2026 Duke 250 in India with two new colour options, enhancing its appeal in the competitive 250cc streetfighter segment. The Austrian motorcycle maker has added Silver Metallic and Slate Grey shades to the Duke 250 lineup, complementing the existing Ebony Black, Electronic Orange, and Atlantic Blue colours. These additions aim to provide buyers with more personalization choices while keeping the bike’s aggressive styling and premium streetfighter aesthetics intact.
The updated 2026 Duke 250 continues to maintain KTM’s signature sharp design language. Its angular tank shrouds, exposed trellis frame, and minimalistic rear section create a visually striking profile. The new paint options extend to the fuel tank with contrasting finishes, providing a premium look that stands out in city traffic and on highways alike. KTM’s focus on bold styling ensures that the Duke 250 remains one of the most eye-catching motorcycles in its segment.
Under the hood, the Duke 250 remains powered by a 248.8cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 30 horsepower and 24 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, offering precise shifts and sporty performance suitable for city commutes and spirited rides on highways. The bike features a lightweight steel trellis frame paired with WP Apex upside-down front forks and a monoshock rear suspension for stable handling and superior ride comfort. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends, supported by dual-channel ABS for safety.
The 2026 Duke 250 retains its premium features, including full LED lighting, an all-digital TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and multiple riding modes. The ergonomics of the motorcycle are designed for both comfort and control, with a slightly upright riding position, comfortable seat, and wide handlebars, making it suitable for daily rides and longer journeys.
The new colour options give buyers the chance to personalize their ride, and KTM’s aggressive marketing ensures that the Duke 250 remains aspirational for young enthusiasts. The added shades also align with trends in the segment, where visual appeal plays a significant role in influencing buying decisions.
The 2026 KTM Duke 250 continues to compete against rivals like the Bajaj Dominar 250, Yamaha R15 V4, and Honda Hornet 2.0, offering a strong mix of style, performance, and technology. Pricing for the updated Duke 250 starts at ₹2.34 lakh (ex-showroom), with the new Silver Metallic and Slate Grey options available at a slight premium, reflecting their limited-edition appeal and exclusivity.
Overall, the 2026 KTM Duke 250 builds on the strengths of the previous model, combining sharp styling, dynamic performance, and advanced features, now with added colour choices to cater to a broader audience. The updates make the Duke 250 one of the most desirable motorcycles in the 250cc streetfighter category in India.
