The standout feature of this new edition is the TFT (Thin Film Transistor) digital display , a significant upgrade from the traditional semi-digital instrument cluster found in previous models.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched a refreshed variant of one of its most popular scooters, the 2025 Suzuki Access Ride Connect TFT Edition. This new model brings a host of modern features to the trusted Access 125 platform, aiming to deliver enhanced convenience, connectivity, and style for today’s tech-savvy urban commuters.

The standout feature of this new edition is the TFT (Thin Film Transistor) digital display, a significant upgrade from the traditional semi-digital instrument cluster found in previous models. This high-resolution screen offers crisp visibility in various lighting conditions and displays comprehensive ride information such as speed, fuel level, odometer reading, and real-time mileage.

Smartphone Connectivity and Digital Features

The Ride Connect TFT Edition comes equipped with full smartphone integration via Bluetooth. Riders can sync their smartphones with the scooter using the Suzuki Ride Connect app. This allows access to a range of smart features including:

Turn-by-turn navigation

Incoming call and message notifications

Missed call alerts

Phone battery level display

Trip summaries and ride analytics

These additions are especially useful for city riders who rely on real-time navigation and communication, making the scooter a practical choice for daily use.

Design and Ergonomic Enhancements

While the scooter retains its familiar body shape, Suzuki has introduced new color schemes and graphics that align with modern design preferences. The seat has been slightly redesigned for better comfort, and the footboard now provides more space for riders, improving overall ergonomics.

The Access Ride Connect TFT Edition is also fitted with LED lighting for better visibility and a premium appearance. The headlamp and tail lamp get a refreshed design, adding a subtle but noticeable visual update.

Engine and Performance

The new edition continues to be powered by the reliable 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which complies with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. It produces around 8.6 PS of power and 10 Nm of torque, providing a smooth and efficient ride. The engine is mated to a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), which offers seamless power delivery and ease of operation in stop-and-go traffic.

The scooter maintains its excellent mileage record, which has been one of the strong selling points of the Access range. Suzuki claims that the Ride Connect variant offers the same fuel efficiency as the standard version, with added digital benefits.

Pricing and Availability

The 2025 Suzuki Access Ride Connect TFT Edition is priced slightly higher than the standard variants due to its premium features. It will be available across Suzuki dealerships in India and is expected to be a strong competitor in the mid-range scooter segment.

Conclusion

With the introduction of the TFT Edition, Suzuki aims to enhance the riding experience of urban commuters by combining technology with functionality. This move not only modernises the Access brand but also reflects the growing demand for smart mobility solutions in India. The new variant is ideal for riders who want a balance of traditional performance and modern-day convenience.
