TVS Motor Company has unveiled the new Apache RTR 160 4V at a price of ₹1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated motorcycle comes with several key enhancements, including USD (Upside Down) forks for improved handling and a host of other technological features aimed at providing an enhanced riding experience.
This new model retains the bold, aggressive design of its predecessor, but with a fresh, modern touch. The USD forks are one of the most significant upgrades, improving the bike's front suspension, offering better stability, and a smoother ride, especially on challenging roads. The new Apache RTR 160 4V also features updated graphics, a sharper headlamp, and improved ergonomics for rider comfort.
Performance-wise, the bike continues to be powered by the same 159.7cc engine that delivers a peak power output of 17.55 bhp and a torque of 14.73 Nm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. It is designed to offer a balanced performance, making it suitable for both city commutes and spirited rides.
In terms of technology, the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V includes a digital instrument cluster that offers a host of information such as a lap timer, top-speed recorder, and service reminder, among others. The bike is also equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, allowing riders to connect their smartphones and access ride-related data via the TVS SmartXonnect app.
With the new launch, TVS aims to continue its dominance in the competitive 150cc segment, offering a more performance-oriented and tech-rich package to motorcycle enthusiasts. The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V's ₹1.39 lakh price tag positions it well within the reach of urban riders who seek both performance and advanced features without breaking the bank.
This new launch marks a significant step for TVS in catering to the evolving needs of performance bike lovers in India, and it’s likely to appeal to riders who seek value, performance, and cutting-edge features in their motorcycles.
