Steelbird Hi-Tech India Ltd., one of the country’s leading helmet manufacturers, has launched a new entry-level helmet model — the SBH-64 ZIP RF — in the Indian market. Designed with affordability, safety, and comfort in mind, this new helmet is priced starting at just ₹999, making it a highly competitive offering in the commuter segment.
The SBH-64 ZIP RF is an open-face helmet aimed primarily at urban and semi-urban two-wheeler riders. It features a compact and lightweight design, making it easy to wear for extended durations. With an aerodynamic outer shell crafted from high-impact ABS material and compliance with ISI certification standards, the helmet ensures essential safety without compromising on style.
One of the key highlights of the SBH-64 ZIP RF is its quick-release visor mechanism, allowing users to easily change or clean the visor. It also comes with a micro-metric buckle system for added convenience and secure fit. The inner padding is made from breathable, sweat-absorbing fabric that ensures maximum comfort during hot weather.
The helmet is available in various color combinations, including black, white, grey, and dual-tone options, to cater to diverse consumer preferences. Sizes range from small to extra-large, ensuring a suitable fit for all users.
Speaking on the launch, Steelbird management highlighted their aim to offer reliable protection at a price point that makes safety accessible to all. “We want to ensure that no rider has to compromise on safety due to budget constraints. With the SBH-64 ZIP RF, we’ve brought affordability and quality together,” the company said in a statement.
Steelbird continues to expand its product line with a focus on innovation, user comfort, and compliance with international safety standards. The SBH-64 ZIP RF is now available at authorized retail outlets and on major e-commerce platforms across India.
