The company's latest sales performance was supported by growth in both the domestic and international markets, with exports recording a particularly strong increase during the month.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd recorded total sales of 1,33,688 units in September 2026, registering an 8 percent year on year increase compared with 1,23,550 units sold in September 2025. The company's latest sales performance was supported by growth in both the domestic and international markets, with exports recording a particularly strong increase during the month.

Domestic sales stood at 1,08,806 units in September 2026, compared with 1,05,886 units during the same month last year. This represents a growth of 3 percent. While the domestic increase was moderate, Suzuki said the performance came against a relatively strong base from the previous year, when customer demand had benefited from GST related measures.

The company's export performance was considerably stronger. Suzuki Motorcycle India exported 24,882 units in September 2026, compared with 17,664 units in September 2025. This represents a year on year growth of 41 percent. The increase in exports contributed significantly to the company's overall sales growth during the month.

When domestic sales and exports are combined, Suzuki Motorcycle India reached total sales of 1,33,688 units in September. The figure was 10,138 units higher than the 1,23,550 units recorded in September 2025. The sales performance indicates that overseas demand played an important role in supporting the company's overall volumes.

The company also reported strong performance in its after sales business. Suzuki Motorcycle India's monthly spare parts revenue reached a record Rs 111.2 crore in September 2026. This was an increase of 26 percent compared with Rs 88.1 crore recorded in September 2025. The growth in spare parts revenue highlights the contribution of the company's existing customer base and after sales operations.

Suzuki also made several product related updates during September. The company introduced new colour options across its GIXXER motorcycle range. The updated lineup included the GIXXER, GIXXER SF, GIXXER 250, GIXXER SF 250 and GIXXER SF 250 FFV. The changes were mainly focused on styling and colour options, while the existing mechanical specifications were retained.

During the same month, Suzuki introduced a Hayabusa Special Edition. The motorcycle received exclusive styling and finishing details along with updates intended to enhance its premium appeal. The Hayabusa continues to remain one of the company's flagship motorcycles in the Indian market.

Suzuki Motorcycle India also conducted several customer engagement activities during September. Events such as Road to Matsuri in Ludhiana, GIXXER Pitstop activities across multiple cities and other customer programmes were organised to strengthen interaction with riders and motorcycle enthusiasts.

According to Deepak Mutreja, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India, September recorded growth in both domestic sales and exports. He noted that domestic sales improved despite the higher base recorded during the previous year. The company said it would continue to focus on customer satisfaction as the festive season progresses.

The September sales performance comes at an important period for the Indian two wheeler industry. The festive season generally plays an important role in vehicle demand, with manufacturers and dealerships focusing on new launches, promotional activities and customer engagement programmes.

For Suzuki Motorcycle India, the 8 percent growth in total sales reflects a combination of steady domestic demand and stronger international shipments. While domestic sales increased by 3 percent, the 41 percent growth in exports provided a significant boost to the company's overall performance.

The company is expected to continue focusing on its motorcycle and scooter portfolio, customer experience and international business as it moves further into the festive sales period. Suzuki's latest sales figures also indicate that export markets are becoming an increasingly important part of its overall volume performance.

Overall, Suzuki Motorcycle India sold 1,33,688 units in September 2026. Domestic sales accounted for 1,08,806 units, while exports contributed 24,882 units. With total sales growing 8 percent, exports rising 41 percent and spare parts revenue reaching a record monthly level, September marked a positive month for Suzuki Motorcycle India.

While the domestic increase was moderate, Suzuki said the performance came against a relatively strong base from the previous year, when customer demand had benefited from GST related measures.
