Market Impact and Outlook The electric two-wheeler market in India has been growing steadily, and with the 2025 iQube, TVS aims to strengthen its position against rivals like Ather 450X, Ola S1, and Bajaj Chetak.

TVS Motor Company has launched the 2025 edition of its popular electric scooter, the TVS iQube, in India. The new iQube comes with major updates aimed at improving performance, convenience, and user experience. Among the most notable upgrades are the inclusion of larger battery packs and a substantial increase in range, making the scooter more practical for both urban and semi-urban users.

Three Variants, Two Battery Options

The 2025 TVS iQube will be offered in three distinct variants: iQube, iQube S, and iQube ST. The base and S variants come with a 3.4 kWh battery pack, while the top-end ST variant will be available in two battery configurations—3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh.

With these updates, the claimed real-world range has been significantly enhanced. The 3.4 kWh variants now offer up to 100 kilometers of true range, whereas the 5.1 kWh variant boasts a claimed range of up to 150 kilometers on a single charge.

Design and Features

Although the overall design language remains consistent with the previous model, TVS has introduced new color options and minor styling tweaks. The scooter continues to feature a sleek, modern look with a wide seat, digital instrument cluster, and ample boot space.

The 2025 iQube also includes smart connectivity features such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alerts, geo-fencing, ride statistics, and remote vehicle diagnostics—all accessible via the TVS iQube app. The top variant includes a larger touchscreen and enhanced interface.

Performance and Charging

The electric motor remains the same, delivering a peak power output of 4.4 kW, with a top speed of 82 km/h. Acceleration has been optimized for quicker response, making city commuting more efficient.

Charging times vary based on battery size. The 3.4 kWh variant can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in about 3 hours, while the 5.1 kWh battery requires nearly 4.5 hours for the same. Fast charging options are also expected to be introduced later.

Pricing and Availability

TVS has kept the pricing competitive. The base variant of the iQube starts at around ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), while the iQube S is priced at ₹1.20 lakh. The top-end ST variant with the larger battery is expected to retail around ₹1.38 lakh. Prices may vary based on state subsidies and FAME-II benefits.

Bookings are now open across major cities, and deliveries will begin by the end of the month. TVS is also expanding its charging infrastructure to support the new launch.
