Honda has launched the updated 2026 Elevate facelift in India, giving its midsize SUV a refreshed exterior design, upgraded cabin and several new technology and convenience features. The new Elevate has been introduced at an ex showroom starting price of Rs 11.80 lakh, while the top ZX Plus Black CVT variant costs Rs 18.40 lakh ex showroom.
The facelift marks the first major update to the Honda Elevate since the SUV was introduced in India. Honda has focused mainly on exterior styling, interior comfort, safety and technology improvements, while retaining the existing petrol powertrain. India is also the first market globally to receive the updated Elevate.
Honda opened pre bookings for the new Elevate on October 1, 2026. Customers can reserve the SUV by paying a booking amount of Rs 21,000. Bookings are available through authorised Honda dealerships across India and through the companys official website.
For online bookings, customers can configure the SUV according to their preferred variant, transmission and exterior colour before proceeding with the booking process. Buyers can also use the Honda website to request a test drive or make an enquiry. Customers who prefer the traditional process can visit an authorised Honda dealership and complete the booking there.
The 2026 Honda Elevate is available in six variants. These are SV, V, VX, ZX, ZX Plus and ZX Plus Black. The SUV continues to use a 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a six speed manual gearbox or a CVT automatic transmission. The base SV variant is available only with the manual gearbox.
The variant wise pricing starts at Rs 11.80 lakh for the SV manual. The V manual is priced at Rs 12.29 lakh, while the V CVT costs Rs 13.79 lakh. The VX is priced at Rs 13.93 lakh with the manual gearbox and Rs 15.39 lakh with the CVT. The ZX manual costs Rs 15.39 lakh, while the ZX CVT is priced at Rs 16.89 lakh.
The ZX Plus variant is priced at Rs 16.80 lakh with the manual transmission and Rs 18.30 lakh with the CVT. The range topping ZX Plus Black costs Rs 16.90 lakh with the manual gearbox and Rs 18.40 lakh with the CVT. These are ex showroom Delhi prices announced by Honda. Additional charges apply for certain pearl and dual tone exterior colours.
Honda has made several changes to the exterior design of the Elevate facelift. The SUV gets a redesigned front fascia with a new bold mesh grille and updated gloss black elements. The Honda emblem has also been repositioned. The new tri bar LED position lights give the front end a different appearance compared with the outgoing model.
At the rear, the most noticeable change is the full width connected LED tail lamp design. The SUV also receives updated gloss black exterior elements and newly finished 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Honda has introduced Nordic Forest Pearl as a new exterior colour. The updated Elevate is available in seven colour options, including single tone and selected dual tone combinations.
The cabin has received more significant equipment upgrades. The new Elevate gets a premium dual tone ivory and black interior with soft touch materials and gloss black elements. Honda has also added wrap around ambient lighting, updated cabin lighting and USB Type C charging ports for front and rear passengers.
One of the important additions is the active ventilation system for both front and rear seats. The SUV also gets power adjustable front seats, premium leather upholstery and an electric sunroof. Honda has added an eight speaker premium surround sound system and a PM2.5 air quality display with an automatic clean air function.
The new Elevate also receives upgraded parking and driving assistance technology. Depending on the variant, features include a 360 degree surround view camera, front and rear parking sensors and an electric parking brake with auto brake hold. The SUV continues with Honda Sensing technology, which includes several advanced driver assistance functions.
The CVT variants additionally receive Low Speed Follow, which is designed to provide greater convenience in slow moving traffic. Other Honda Sensing functions include collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, lane keeping assistance, lead car departure notification and automatic high beam assistance.
Safety equipment includes six airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, vehicle stability assist, hill start assist and ISOFIX child seat mounting points. CVT variants also receive all wheel disc brakes. Honda has retained the SUVs 220 mm ground clearance and 2,650 mm wheelbase, while the overall dimensions remain 4,312 mm in length, 1,790 mm in width and 1,650 mm in height.
In terms of fuel efficiency, Honda states a certified figure of 15.31 kmpl for the manual version and 16.61 kmpl for the CVT version. The company has retained the existing naturally aspirated petrol engine instead of introducing a new hybrid or turbocharged powertrain with this facelift.
Honda has also announced a three year unlimited kilometre standard warranty for the new Elevate. Customers can opt for extended warranty coverage of up to seven years with unlimited kilometres. Honda also offers an Anytime Warranty programme that can extend coverage up to 10 years or 1,20,000 kilometres, subject to the applicable renewal conditions.
Delivery information is another important consideration for customers who have already booked or are planning to book the new SUV. Honda has confirmed that deliveries of the new Elevate are available. However, the actual delivery timeline is not identical for every customer. Waiting periods can vary depending on the selected variant, exterior colour and city or dealership.
Customers who have already placed a pre booking should therefore contact their selected Honda dealership for the most accurate delivery estimate. Buyers planning to purchase the SUV during the festive season may also want to confirm stock availability before finalising their variant and colour choice.
The updated Honda Elevate continues to compete in the midsize SUV segment against models such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and other SUVs in the segment. Its revised styling, additional comfort features and enhanced safety technology are intended to strengthen its position in this competitive category.
Overall, the 2026 Honda Elevate facelift retains the familiar petrol engine and core SUV dimensions while adding several features that were previously unavailable or limited on the model. The Rs 11.80 lakh starting price places the updated SUV in a competitive position, while the Rs 18.40 lakh top end price reflects the additional equipment offered on the higher variants.
For buyers considering the new Elevate, the main factors to compare are the required transmission, feature level, budget and expected delivery period. The V variant provides access to the CVT option, while the higher VX, ZX and ZX Plus variants add progressively more comfort, convenience and safety equipment. Buyers should confirm the latest on road price, stock status and delivery estimate with their local Honda dealership before completing the purchase.
