Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has officially unveiled the Honda QC3 electric scooter, further strengthening its presence in the country's rapidly growing electric two wheeler market. The QC3 becomes the company's third electric scooter for India, joining the Activa e: and QC1 as part of Honda's expanding electric mobility portfolio.
The new QC3 is positioned above the QC1 and is designed to offer greater riding range, improved equipment and enhanced everyday usability for urban commuters. With increasing demand for electric scooters in India, Honda aims to provide customers with a practical alternative that combines efficiency, convenience and modern technology.
The Honda QC3 is powered by a 3 kWh battery pack paired with a hub mounted electric motor. According to Honda, the scooter delivers a claimed riding range of up to 145 km on a single full charge, making it suitable for daily city commuting as well as longer urban journeys without frequent charging.
Charging performance is one of the key highlights of the QC3. Honda states that the battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in approximately 2 hours and 40 minutes, while a complete charge requires around 4 hours. The relatively quick charging time is expected to improve convenience for users who rely on their scooter for regular commuting.
In terms of design, the QC3 adopts a clean and contemporary styling approach focused on practicality. The scooter features a front apron that integrates the headlamp and turn indicators, while LED daytime running lights enhance visibility and give the scooter a modern appearance.
