Apple Inc delivered its strongest-ever global quarterly performance during the October to December 2025 period, posting revenue of 143.7 billion dollars. The iPhone remained the primary growth driver, while other product categories including Mac, iPad, and services also recorded strong results. Company executives highlighted India as a key market contributing to this momentum.
Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook described Apple’s performance in India during the quarter as exceptionally strong, calling it the company’s best quarter ever in the country. While Apple did not disclose specific revenue figures for India, Cook said demand across products continued to grow steadily, reinforcing the company’s long-term confidence in the market.
According to Cook, India is emerging as one of Apple’s most important growth opportunities globally. He noted that a large portion of customers purchasing Apple products in India, including iPhones, MacBooks, iPads, and Apple Watches, are first-time users of the brand. This trend highlights Apple’s expanding customer base and suggests significant room for further growth.
Chief Financial Officer Kevan Parekh also pointed to encouraging indicators from the Indian market. He said Apple is witnessing strong double-digit growth in its installed base in the country, which reflects increasing adoption and customer retention. A growing installed base is particularly important for Apple’s services business, which includes subscriptions, digital content, and cloud-based offerings.
Globally, Apple recorded revenue growth across multiple segments during the quarter. The iPhone led sales performance, benefiting from strong consumer demand in both developed and emerging markets. Mac and iPad sales also contributed positively, supported by refreshed product lineups and sustained interest from students and professionals. The services segment continued its upward trajectory, adding stability to Apple’s overall revenue mix.
India has become an increasingly strategic market for Apple in recent years. The company has expanded local manufacturing, strengthened its retail presence, and tailored pricing and financing options to attract a broader customer base. Analysts believe these efforts have helped Apple gain market share in a price-sensitive but rapidly growing smartphone market.
Apple’s growing footprint in India also aligns with the country’s broader push to become a global manufacturing and technology hub. Local production of iPhones has not only improved supply chain efficiency but has also supported exports from India to other regions.
Looking ahead, Apple’s leadership expressed optimism about sustained growth in India. Cook reiterated that the company sees the country as a long-term opportunity driven by a large population, rising incomes, and increasing digital adoption. He added that Apple plans to continue investing in the market through product innovation, retail expansion, and ecosystem development.
With record global revenue and strong momentum in India, Apple’s October to December 2025 quarter underscores the company’s ability to grow across regions while tapping into emerging markets for future expansion.
