The Denta Water IPO, valued at Rs 220.50 crore, has witnessed overwhelming demand, being fully subscribed in under an hour of its opening on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The IPO was subscribed 2.72 times at 10:51 am, with strong participation from non-institutional investors and retail individual investors. By 11:06 am, the issue was subscribed 3.32 times, receiving bids for 1,74,48,050 equity shares, surpassing the offered size of 52,50,000 shares.
Denta Water had previously raised Rs 66.15 crore from anchor investors ahead of the mainboard IPO. The grey market premium (GMP) for the IPO stands at a significant 56%, signaling a likely premium listing on both BSE and NSE. Despite a solid response from non-institutional and retail investors, the qualified institutional buyer segment has shown lower demand. The non-institutional investors' portion was oversubscribed by 5.24 times, while the retail investors' category saw 4.40 times subscription.
