Automotive giant Stellantis has unveiled its latest investment in the U.S. market with the opening of a $64 million Mopar Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in East Fishkill, New York. The new facility is a key component of Stellantis' strategic plan to bolster its service capabilities and streamline parts delivery across the entire Northeast region.
The East Fishkill center spans over 500,000 square feet and is equipped with modern technologies designed to increase efficiency in inventory management, order processing, and distribution logistics. Stellantis officials highlighted that the center will play a critical role in ensuring faster delivery of parts to dealerships and repair centers, thus enhancing customer satisfaction and service turnaround times.
Speaking at the launch, company representatives noted that the investment aligns with Stellantis’ broader commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and customer-centric growth. The Northeast region represents a significant market for Stellantis’ array of brands, which include Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Fiat. Improving service infrastructure in this key area is expected to support further brand loyalty and market expansion.
The new PDC will employ approximately 150 workers initially, with plans to expand the workforce as demand grows. Positions range from warehouse operations and logistics coordination to management and technical roles. Local leaders praised Stellantis’ investment, citing the economic benefits and job creation for the East Fishkill community and surrounding areas.
Mark Stewart, Chief Operating Officer of Stellantis North America, emphasized the center’s importance during his remarks. "This new facility underscores our commitment to providing best-in-class service to our customers and dealers. By investing in our supply chain, we are ensuring that Mopar continues to set the standard for reliability and customer satisfaction," he said.
In addition to improving distribution efficiency, the center has been built with sustainability in mind. Stellantis has incorporated energy-saving measures, waste reduction systems, and eco-friendly technologies into the building’s design as part of its broader environmental responsibility initiatives.
The opening of the East Fishkill PDC is part of a larger investment by Stellantis to modernize its parts and service infrastructure across North America. Several additional projects are currently underway to further enhance Mopar’s reach and efficiency.
Industry analysts see the launch as a positive move that could provide Stellantis with a competitive edge in aftersales support, an increasingly important aspect of consumer satisfaction in the automotive sector.
As the company continues to focus on strengthening its operations, Stellantis aims to ensure that customers across the Northeast experience faster, more reliable service whenever they need parts or maintenance support.
