The Union Public Service Commission has officially released the admit cards for the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination and the Officers Grade B examination. Candidates who are scheduled to appear for these examinations can now access and download their hall tickets from the official UPSC website. The release of the admit cards marks an important step in the examination process and allows candidates to prepare for the final stage of their selection.
To download the admit card, candidates must visit the official website of the Union Public Service Commission and navigate to the admit card section available under the examination portal. Applicants can log in using either their registration ID and date of birth or their roll number and date of birth. After successful login, the admit card will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to download and take a clear printout for use on the examination day.
The admit card contains vital information such as the candidate’s name, roll number, photograph, signature, examination date, reporting time, and the complete address of the examination centre. It also includes important instructions that candidates must strictly follow during the examination. These instructions relate to reporting time, items allowed inside the examination hall, and guidelines for maintaining discipline during the test.
UPSC has instructed candidates to carefully check all the details printed on the admit card. In case of any discrepancy in personal information, photograph, signature, or centre details, candidates are advised to immediately contact the Commission for necessary correction. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without a valid admit card and an original photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, voter ID, driving license, or passport.
The Limited Departmental Competitive Examination is conducted by UPSC for the promotion of eligible departmental candidates to higher posts in various government departments. The Officers Grade B examination is also a significant recruitment process aimed at filling vacancies in designated government services. Both examinations play a crucial role in strengthening the administrative framework by selecting qualified and experienced officers.
UPSC maintains strict standards in the conduct of its examinations to ensure fairness and transparency. Candidates are required to follow all examination guidelines mentioned in the admit card. Any violation of the rules may lead to disqualification. Electronic gadgets, study material, and unauthorized items are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre.
Candidates are also advised to visit their assigned examination centre a day in advance to familiarize themselves with the location and avoid last-minute delays. Reporting late to the examination centre may result in denial of entry, as per UPSC regulations. It is recommended to reach the centre well before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
With the release of the admit cards, candidates are now entering the final phase of their preparation. Aspirants are encouraged to focus on revision, time management, and accuracy to perform well in the examination. Regular updates regarding the examination schedule, results, and further stages of the selection process will be published on the official UPSC website.
