Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their qualifying status and cutoff details through the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission has announced the result of the UPSSSC Lekhpal Main Examination 2025, along with category wise cutoff marks. The result was released on September 11, 2026, on the official UPSSSC website.

The recruitment examination was conducted for 7,994 Lekhpal posts under the Revenue Department of the Uttar Pradesh government. According to the result announcement, 28,409 candidates have been shortlisted for the eligibility and Document Verification stage.

The Lekhpal Main Examination was conducted on May 21, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their qualifying status and cutoff details through the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

The latest result is an important stage in the recruitment process because candidates who meet the prescribed cutoff marks have been shortlisted for the next stage. However, the commission has clarified that inclusion in the result for eligibility or Document Verification does not amount to final selection.

The category wise cutoff marks have also been released along with the result. For the Unreserved category, the cutoff has been fixed at 58.75 marks. The Other Backward Classes category has a cutoff of 55.75 marks, while the Economically Weaker Sections category has a cutoff of 55.25 marks.

For Scheduled Caste candidates, the cutoff is 51.25 marks, while the Scheduled Tribe cutoff is 44 marks. These cutoff marks are based on candidates' performance in the written Main Examination and determine eligibility for the subsequent stage of the recruitment process.

The commission has also released cutoff marks under horizontal reservation categories. The cutoff for women candidates is 49.25 marks, while the cutoff for dependants of freedom fighters is 34.25 marks. The cutoff for ex servicemen is 30.50 marks.

For candidates under certain Persons with Disabilities categories, the reported cutoff marks include 30.75 for hearing handicapped candidates, 43.25 for one arm related disability and 47.50 for one leg related disability. For certain other disability categories and outstanding sportspersons, candidates have been considered up to the available limit, according to the released cutoff details.

The release of the result marks the completion of the written examination stage of the recruitment process. Candidates who have been shortlisted will now have to complete the eligibility and Document Verification process. The commission is expected to issue separate instructions regarding document submission or uploading requirements.

Candidates should keep their educational certificates, identity documents, category certificates and other relevant records ready for the verification process. Those claiming benefits under reserved categories should ensure that their certificates meet the conditions prescribed in the recruitment notification.

The UPSSSC Lekhpal recruitment process began with the Preliminary Eligibility Test. Candidates who qualified through the relevant PET process were allowed to participate in the Main Examination. The Main Examination was then used to shortlist candidates for the next stage.

The release of the cutoff marks provides candidates with a clear indication of the minimum marks required for consideration in different categories. However, candidates should not interpret the cutoff as confirmation of final appointment because the recruitment process has not yet been completed.

The final selection will depend on the completion of the remaining recruitment formalities and the decisions of the commission. Document Verification is particularly important because candidates must establish their eligibility through valid documents before final selection.

Candidates who have qualified should therefore regularly monitor the official UPSSSC website for announcements related to Document Verification, document uploading and further selection procedures. The commission has advised candidates to rely on official notifications for all recruitment related information.

The result announcement is also significant because the recruitment covers 7,994 Lekhpal vacancies across Uttar Pradesh. With 28,409 candidates shortlisted for the next stage, competition remains high even after the written examination.

Candidates who have not been shortlisted should also carefully check their individual result status and the official cutoff information. The commission's result notice should be treated as the authoritative source for a candidate's eligibility status.

For candidates who have qualified, the next priority should be preparing the required documents and checking all personal details for consistency across certificates and application records. Any discrepancy in documents could require clarification during the verification process.

The UPSSSC Lekhpal Main Examination 2025 result therefore represents a major update for thousands of government job aspirants in Uttar Pradesh. While the written examination stage has been completed, the recruitment process will continue through eligibility checks and Document Verification before the final selection list is issued.

Candidates are advised not to rely on unofficial social media posts or third party claims regarding final selection. Any change in the Document Verification schedule, document requirements or final merit list should be confirmed through the official UPSSSC website.
