Director Mahesh Kumar spoke about the project, saying, "Ayogya 2 will be shot simultaneously in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. This is not a pan-India film, but a 'fan-India' film. While the first film was dubbed into other languages after its success, we are now shooting directly in all three languages."
Actor Sathish Ninasam shared his excitement about the project, expressing gratitude towards producer Mune Gowda for finalizing the film. He added, "Mune Gowda is an excellent producer, and I believe this film will be a major milestone for Kannada cinema."
Rachita Ram, reflecting on the journey, mentioned that the muhurtha pooja for Ayogya was held at the same venue six years ago. She fondly recalled the success of the first film and spoke about the iconic song "Yenammi Yenammi," which remains unforgettable to fans. She added, "Sathish and I are like Tom and Jerry, always bickering, but we share a great on-screen chemistry. I hope to continue being the 'Bulbul' of my fans' hearts."
Producer Mune Gowda shared his optimism, stating that the team’s reunion for the sequel had already excited fans. Several members from the original cast, including Sundar Raj, Tabla Nani, and Shivraj KR Pete, will reprise their roles in Ayogya 2. Manju Pavagada has also joined the team.
Cinematography for the film is handled by Vishwajit Rao, with dialogues by Masti and music by Arjun Janya. The first film’s music was a huge hit, and the team is hopeful that the sequel will set new benchmarks in Kannada cinema. The film will begin shooting in Mandya and is slated for release next year. Fans are eagerly waiting to see the magic of Ayogya 2 unfold on the big screen.
