Prem is set to make his directorial debut with a bilingual film titled Yake in Kannada and Sansthanam in Telugu. The project is being produced by Seetha Harshavardhan under the newly launched banner, Siri Cinemas. The title was revealed at a grand event attended by prominent celebrities such as Orata Prashanth, Srinagar Kitty, producer TP Siddaraju, and Ambuja, all of whom expressed their best wishes for the film’s success.
Producer Seetha Harshavardhan, who has previously acted in various Kannada films and TV serials, as well as Telugu serials, shared her enthusiasm for the project. She revealed, “When director Prem narrated the story, I felt an instant connection with it, which made me excited to move forward with the production.” The film is set to begin shooting in November, with the goal of releasing it in theatres by April next year.
The production also includes collaborations with Amazon and the Hyderabad-based Khushi Cinema. Seetha emphasised that the aim of this project is to deliver high-quality films to the Kannada film industry. Director Prem shared his excitement about making his debut, stating, “This is my first venture in Kannada, and the story is something I believe will resonate with everyone. We will start shooting mid-November and look forward to bringing this story to life.”
Partners from Khushi Cinema also expressed their enthusiasm for working on this project, committing to supporting fresh and innovative content for the audience.
