The latest track "Tang Tang" from the film Royal has captured the hearts of listeners, quickly rising to popularity with over a million views. Featuring the lead pair Viraat and Sanjana Anand, the song's launch event in Tumakuru attracted a large crowd of college students and fans, reflecting the film's growing buzz.
During the event, the cast and crew expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the audience for their overwhelming support. Director Dinakar Thoogudeepa, making a return to directing after a five-year hiatus, emphasized the importance of fan support, stating, “We owe our success to the support of our fans. Despite the challenges we face, we have always felt your love, and we ask for your continued support for this film and all Kannada films."
Music director Charan Raj also expressed appreciation for the positive reception, saying, “I am overwhelmed by the positive reception and grateful for the chance to be part of this project.” Lyricist Kaviraj described "Tang Tang" as a "perfect royal anthem," capturing the grandeur and energy of Royal. He expressed pride in contributing to a project that celebrates the rich culture of Kannada cinema, adding that the combination of Dinakar's direction, Charan Raj's music, and the chemistry between the lead actors is something to look forward to.
Viraat and Sanjana Anand shared their excitement, highlighting the contributions of the production team. They stated, “Jayanna and Bhogendra sir have made this possible, and we hope everyone continues to support the film.”
With cinematography by Sanketh, Royal is currently in post-production and is targeting a release in November or December under the banner of Jayanna Productions.
