Sampaada, known for her notable debut in Rider alongside Nikhil Kumar, is rapidly gaining recognition in the Kannada film industry. Having already starred in films like Benki and Karavali with Prajwal Devaraj, she is now looking forward to her next major project, Ekka. The film, directed by Rohit Padaki and featuring Yuva Rajkumar, marks her fourth film in the Kannada industry.
Sampaada expresses excitement about the new venture, stating, “2024 may have been a slow year for me, but it’s been a good year. I’ve bagged two solid projects, and that’s all I need to keep moving forward.” She goes on to describe her role in Ekka as something special, noting that although the film has two female leads, she is happy with the character she will portray.
Produced by PRK Productions, Jayanna Films, and KRG Studios, Ekka also stars Atul Kulkarni in a principal role. The film is set to begin shooting soon, with plans for a mid-2025 release. The film's crew includes music by Charan Raj, cinematography by Satya Hegde, and editing by Deepu S Kumar. Sampaada is eager to share the screen with Yuva Rajkumar and is thrilled with the opportunity to collaborate with such a talented team.
In addition to her Kannada career, Sampaada is venturing into Telugu cinema. She will soon be making her Telugu debut opposite Vishwak Sen in a project produced by Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas, known for Dasara. She reveals that most of her shoot for the film is already complete, with just a few portions remaining to be shot next month.
With both Kannada and Telugu projects underway, Sampaada is undoubtedly carving out a promising career in South Indian cinema.
