Shivarajkumar, fondly known as Karunada Chakravarthy in the Kannada film industry, has openly addressed recent health speculations, confirming that he is currently undergoing treatment for a serious medical condition. While Shivanna has not disclosed specific details about his illness, it is widely believed to be a critical health issue. Despite this, the popular actor remains hopeful and is confident in his recovery.

Speaking candidly about the moment of his diagnosis, Shivanna shared that his initial reaction was one of shock, but the unwavering support from his family, friends, and fans has provided him with the strength to face the challenge head-on. “Like anyone, I was shocked at first, but the overwhelming support has given me the strength to move forward. I’m responding well to the treatment,” he assured his fans.

Shivanna revealed that he has been prescribed a course of four treatment sessions, with two of them already completed. Demonstrating his resilience, he mentioned that he has managed to film intense action sequences for his upcoming film Bhairathi Ranagal and continue his work as a host for Dance Karnataka Dance despite undergoing treatment. His focus now remains on the promotion of Bhairathi Ranagal, directed by Narthan and set for a grand release on November 15.

Sources indicate that Shivanna may need surgery after the remaining treatment sessions, with discussions underway to perform the procedure in the U.S., likely in Florida this December. He reassured fans that although he may need a brief break of about a month and a half, he expects to return to his normal routine by the end of January. “Just a couple of months,” he added confidently, “and I’ll be back in full swing.”

During this time, Shivanna is taking extra precautions to avoid infections, particularly during fan interactions. His openness and determination have inspired fans, who are eagerly awaiting his return to both good health and the screen.

Beyond Bhairathi Ranagal, Shivanna has completed filming for 45 and is involved in several other projects, including a Telugu film with Ram Charan, which are currently in various stages of production.
