The trailer of Kaalapatthar, directed by Vikky Varun, was unveiled with Shivarajkumar as the chief guest. The event also featured popular actor Vinay Rajkumar, director T.S. Nagabharana, and Poornima Ram Kumar.

Vikky, who began as an assistant director with Kaddipudi and later appeared in Kendasampige and College Kumara, has evolved significantly with Kaalapatthar. It’s interesting to note that all three films he worked on begin with the letter 'K,' a sign of success for those with a 'King' attitude. Dhanya Ramkumar also impressed him with her performance, and he expressed pride in her growth as an actress, having known her since she was young."
