Director Ramu has officially wrapped up shooting for Majestic 2, concluding a 126-day filming schedule dedicated to exploring the life of a young man raised in the Majestic area of Bangalore. This action-packed film sheds light on illegal activities, underworld dealings, and the persistence of rowdyism in contemporary society, revealing many hidden truths.
Produced by H Anandappa of Amma Enterprises from Chitradurga, Ramu has not only directed but also penned the screenplay and choreographed the action sequences for the film. The lead roles are portrayed by rising stars Bharath and Samhita Vinya. Upon the release of the film's motion poster, the team shared their experiences with the media, highlighting the film's production journey.
Producer Anandappa mentioned, "We began filming on March 31, moving seamlessly around Bangalore and at Maruga Matha for a duet song. I personally oversaw the shooting and am thrilled with the film's outcome."
Reflecting on the filming process, Ramu stated, "We shot continuously for 126 days. I am grateful to Anandappa for believing in my vision and providing all the necessary resources. It’s a blessing to have such a supportive producer for my first film. We are now set to begin the dubbing process, aiming for a release on December 26." He also shared plans for a 101-star parade from Mysore to Bangalore, coinciding with the film’s release, which will feature a large cutout of actor Darshan.
Lead actor Bharath described his character, emphasizing, "This is the story of Majestic in 2024, depicting everything happening in Bangalore. We’ve all worked diligently on this film, which includes six spectacular fight sequences. My character showcases two shades, representing the challenges faced by those in the area. The production team has been incredibly supportive, ensuring we had everything needed without compromise, even shooting at significant locations like the Majestic underpass and bus stop. Before finishing this film, I was offered another project."
Samhita Vinya shared her experience, stating, "This film required considerable effort, and everyone has been supportive. I play a middle-class girl." Actor Shruti also stars as Bharath's mother in the film, which features music composed by Vinu Manasu.
Majestic 2 was filmed in various locations, including Ramohalli, HMT, Sakre Adda near Makali, and Nisarga House in R.T. Nagar, Bangalore, promising an engaging narrative filled with action, romance, and sentiment.
