After receiving positive responses for his roles in Case of Kondana and Grey Games, Vijay Raghavendra is all set for his next big venture, Rippen Swaamy. Directed by Kishor Mudubidire, this action-packed drama has cleared all censorship formalities, with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) awarding the film a U/A certificate. The film is slated to hit theatres in January 2025.
In Rippen Swaamy, Vijay Raghavendra will be seen in a rugged avatar, adding to the film's intense action and drama. Ashwini Chandrashekhar, known for her work in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu cinema, plays Mangala, the wife of the protagonist and a doctor by profession.
The film, shot across scenic locations like Koppa, Kalasa, and Balehonnur, was completed in a mere 48 days. Produced under the Panchanana Films banner, the project features the music of Malayalam composer Samuel Abhi, cinematography by Ranganath CM, and editing by Shashank Narayan.
Along with Rippen Swaamy, Vijay Raghavendra has signed on for an untitled project with director PC Shekhar, which revolves around the struggles and triumphs of farmers. This film is expected to present another engaging and thought-provoking story to the audience.
