The action thriller Rudra Garuda Purana, featuring Rishi from Kavaludaari, is set to hit theaters on December 27. The release date was announced at a recent event where the song "Kanmuende Bandu" was premiered, with appearances from actors KS Shreedhar and Avinash, alongside Rishi, female lead Priyanka Kumar, director Nandish, and the entire cast.
During the event, Rishi opened with a tribute to the late actor Puneeth Rajkumar and emphasized the crucial roles of both the producer and director in creating a successful film. He expressed appreciation for director Nandish’s engaging narrative and thanked producer Lohith for facilitating a seamless transition from script to screen. While he kept plot details under wraps, Rishi assured attendees that "Kanmuende Bandu" would resonate with audiences, hinting that the film promises to be a thrilling experience.
The film’s soundtrack, crafted by the renowned music director Devi Sri Prasad in collaboration with KP (Krishna Prasad), is expected to be a significant highlight of the project. DSP also shared a video message wishing the film great success, adding to the overall excitement surrounding the release.
Nandish has incorporated a twist into the storyline, inspired by the enigmatic case of Pan Am Flight 914, which vanished in 1955 and reappeared 30 years later. This real-life mystery sets the backdrop for Rudra Garuda Purana, where the 17A Kaveri Express bus plays a crucial role in the narrative. Interestingly, the story, originally pitched to the late Puneeth Rajkumar by director Jacob Varghese, generated considerable interest.
The film will feature cinematography by Sandeep Kumar and is produced by Ashwini Lohith under the banner of Ashwini Arts, marking the debut of this production company. The cast also includes notable actors Vinod Alva, Giri, KS Shridhar, and comedic stars Jagappa and Prasanna Handrang, contributing to the film's diverse and dynamic ensemble.
