The first single from Dear Krishna, titled “Chiru Prayam,” was unveiled by the film's makers on Thursday. This upcoming film marks the Telugu debut of Mamitha Baiju. According to the producers, “Chiru Prayam” is the final recorded song by the legendary playback singer, SP Balasubrahmanyam. The song, composed by Hariprasad, carries a heartfelt message about facing life's challenges with resilience, while the lyrics are penned by Giripatla.
Set against the backdrop of 2018, Dear Krishna narrates the inspiring story of a young student who continues to believe in Lord Krishna despite enduring significant hardships, including a critical medical condition. The film draws inspiration from true events in the life of Akshay Krishnan, the actor who portrays the lead role. Two weeks ago, the first poster of Dear Krishna was released to coincide with the Vijayadashami festival.
Dear Krishna is being produced under the banner of PNB Cinemas, with PN Balaram taking on dual roles as both the writer and producer. Dinesh Babu serves as the cinematographer, screenplay writer, and director, while Rajeev Ramachandran handles the editing.
