In Tittakudi, the Puththery Varadaraja Perumal Temple is all set for a spectacular Golden Abishekam (Swarna Abishekam) ceremony tomorrow, which will be a significant spiritual event for the devotees. Earlier today, the temple conducted a grand Thirumanjanam (sacred bath) and Deepa Aradhana (lamp worship) for Sri Deivi and Bhoodevi, alongside Varadaraja Perumal. This was followed by a special Abishekam to Anuman Swamy within the temple’s precincts, where offerings such as Vetrilai Malai (garland made of betel leaves) and Vadai Malai (garland made of vadais) were presented, as part of the devotional rituals.
Further, in alignment with the auspicious occasion of Amavasai, the temple carried out a Maha Abishekam and Deepa Aradhana for Maha Mariamman. The day’s rituals were conducted in a serene and spiritual atmosphere, attracting devotees from nearby regions.
