The Ayyappa temple in Chennimalai, a prominent religious site, holds the Milk Abhishekam festival annually on the first Sunday of the Margazhi month. This year marked the 15th edition of the event, which was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion.
Devotees, carrying milk pots, began their procession from the Ayyappa temple and walked through the main roads, finally reaching the Mariamman temple before returning to the Ayyappa temple. There, they performed the traditional milk abhishekam to Lord Ayyappa. Thousands of devotees attended the ceremony and participated in the community meal (Annadhanam).
The event was organized meticulously by the Sri Ayyappa Bhakta Janasabha, ensuring a smooth and joyous experience for all participants. This year’s celebration not only strengthened the spiritual bond but also promoted a sense of unity among the devotees.
