Former Minister R.B. Udhayakumar, addressing a large crowd in Usilampatti, Madurai, launched a significant awareness campaign led by the AIADMK party, targeting issues of sexual violence and alcohol abuse. The rally, which saw the distribution of "Who is that Sir?" stickers on vehicles, aimed at creating public awareness about these critical issues affecting society. Udhayakumar, in his speech, strongly advocated for the leadership of Edappadi Palaniswami, stating that only he could identify and rectify the problems plaguing Tamil Nadu.

Udhayakumar expressed deep concern over the current state of governance, stating that today's Pongal celebrations have lost their meaning due to the failure of the present government. He highlighted how the AIADMK, under the leadership of Edappadi Palaniswami, would bring prosperity and relief to the people, particularly in eradicating issues like alcohol abuse and sexual violence. He also spoke about the growing frustrations of the Tamil Nadu public, particularly the youth, farmers, teachers, and workers, who have lost faith in the current administration.

Udhayakumar also pointed out the alarming rise in cases of sexual violence, referring to the recent incident involving a student at Anna University. He criticized the government’s failure to take action against such crimes, while emphasizing the need for justice and the protection of women's rights. He questioned how a criminal could enter the university and commit such an act, demanding accountability from those in charge of ensuring safety.

While discussing the present government's inaction, Udhayakumar compared it to the work AIADMK has done in the past, which he claimed had always prioritized public welfare and justice. He urged the people of Tamil Nadu to rally behind Edappadi Palaniswami and AIADMK, stating that only through their leadership would the state see real change. Udhayakumar concluded his speech by calling for a united effort to reclaim power, urging all sectors of society to stand together for a better future under AIADMK leadership.
