Sunena, the daughter of Viswanathan and Priya from Vadakarai North, Periyakulam, has achieved a remarkable feat in the national basketball tournament. At just 15 years old, Sunena began her journey with the Silver Jubilee Sports Club in Periyakulam, consistently proving her talent with a streak of victories.
A 10th-grade student, Sunena's exceptional skills earned her selection under the Tamil Nadu Sports Development Authority in Tiruvannamalai. She secured her place in the state team for girls under 17, representing Tamil Nadu at the national level.
In the national tournament, the Tamil Nadu team delivered an outstanding performance to clinch the championship title. Sunena's significant contribution to the team was widely recognized and appreciated.
