A recent entrepreneurship awareness camp was successfully conducted at Kambam Adisujanchanagiri Women's College. The camp, organized by the College’s Department of Commerce, was aimed at providing students with advice and training on how to start entrepreneurial ventures.
The event was chaired by the College Secretary, Mr. Ramakrishnan, with the presence of Associate Secretary Mr. Vasanthan and Coordinator Ms. Vaishnavi. The session provided a comprehensive explanation to the students about the importance, challenges, and opportunities in entrepreneurship.
The keynote speaker, Mr. Martin Russo, Manager of the Entrepreneur Development and Innovation Institute, offered valuable insights and counseling to the students. He explained in simple terms the various financial schemes available for aspiring entrepreneurs, including loans for self-employment, government support programs, training for entrepreneurs, and methods for implementation. This guidance inspired many students to explore entrepreneurship and helped them understand how to take practical steps toward realizing their entrepreneurial dreams.
The event saw participation from Project Coordinator Ms. Vani, Assistant Professor Ms. Shanmugapriya, guest speakers, and students. This awareness camp helped the students to visualize and work towards realizing their entrepreneurial goals.
Such awareness programs are extremely beneficial, especially for women, as they help them understand the steps to becoming strong entrepreneurs. They also play a crucial role in opening new opportunities in their lives and empowering them to take on new challenges in the entrepreneurial world.
